What types of photography do you offer?

I specialize in family, children, couples, lifestyle, Dance Studios, and portrait sessions β€” including sessions near Disney parks and other fun, themed locations.

How do I book a session?

Contact me through my website, email, or Instagram. Once we confirm a date, I’ll send a contract and invoice. A retainer is required to secure your spot.

How much do you charge?

Pricing varies by session type and length. I offer multiple packages to fit different needs β€” check the pricing page or reach out directly for a custom quote.

What’s included in a photo session?

Each session includes photography time, a set number of edited high-res images, a private online gallery, and print rights for personal use.

How do your sessions work?

  • Standard: 45–60 min

  • Extended: 90+ min for outfit/location changes

  • Mini Sessions: 15–20 min (seasonal)
    Sessions are relaxed, fun, and guided with easy posing to help you feel confident.

When will I get my photos?

Gallery delivery is usually 1–2 weeks. Rush options may be available.

How will my photos be delivered?

Via a private online gallery where you can view, download, and order prints.

Do you deliver RAW files?

No, only professionally edited high-resolution JPEGs are delivered to maintain consistency with my editing style.

Can I print the photos?

Yes β€” print rights are included, and you can also order premium prints from the gallery.

Where are you located?

I’m based in San Diego, CA, and I frequently travel to Orange County and other SoCal areas.

Do you charge travel fees?

Travel within a 150 miles is included. A small fee may apply for longer distances.

What’s your cancellation/reschedule policy?

Retainers are non-refundable but transferable with [3 days] notice. We’ll reschedule if weather or unexpected issues come up.

Can I share my photos online?

Yes! Please tag me (@MATTHEWgerardphoto and/or @MATTHEWgerard) and avoid altering the edits or applying filters.Can you photograph inside Disney parks?

Yes β€” within Disney’s photography rules. I use gear that complies with park guidelines and focus on natural, candid-style portraits in public spaces.

Do I need a ticket for a Theme Park session?

Only if we’re photographing inside the park. Nearby locations (hotels, Downtown Disney) don’t require admission.

What’s the best time for photos?

Golden hour and early morning are best for light and smaller crowds.

Can we wear costumes or Disney outfits?

Adults can’t wear full costumes in the parks, but themed outfits and Disneybounding are perfect! Kids under 14 can wear costumes.

Do you travel to Orlando theme parks for photoshoots?

Yes! I’m available to shoot at Orlando theme parks like Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. A travel fee may apply depending on location and shoot length. Contact me with your ideas, and let’s make it happen!
